Garden equipment can be some of the largest generators of greenhouse gas emissions in and around
the family home. A conventional petrol lawn mower, hedge trimmer, brush cutter, blower/vac or chainsaw can produce as much as 100 times the pollution of a modern car when measured in terms of emissions per unit of fuel consumed.
Electricity is a more environmentally friendly power choice. More powerful 24v and even 36V rechargeable batteries now mean many of the previous constraints associated with mains cables or battery life are overcome.
If you still need the extra flexibility or endurance of petrol power, ultra-low emission twin stroke 4-cycle engines and super-efficient 2 strokes can cut emissions by up to 80% over traditional 2-stroke models and improve fuel consumption.
