Duck and Goose Houses

The folks at Green Frog Design have particular expertise in waterfowl houses having had many years experience of raising their own ducks and geese so we are delighted to be able to offer two houses theyhave designed based on years of experience! Ducks are attractive, practical and easy to raise and keep and are fantastic for slug and snail control in your garden. But beware, not all ducks mix well with vegetables! Heavier breeds such as the Aylesbury, Rouen, Saxony or Magpie will damage vegetable beds and small palnts in flower, but the smaller black East Indies and call ducks do little damage, and so are great for the garden. Geese are obviously a larger proposition and are well known for making superb 'guard-dogs', angrily honking and hissing at anything new. They also will help keep your lawn trim as they are grass grazers and if you have an orchard will help clear windfall in the autumn.
