The Algreen Cascata rain barrel has a capacity of 245 litres and is the larger of two new innovative waterbutts designed in Canada and manufactured in the UK.  The Cascata's attractive design allows the top of the butt to be used as a planter or as a bird bath and you can either take the downpipe directly into the top of the barrel or via a diverter.

Please note if you are using the top of the Cascata as a planter we have had some customer feedback that the mesh could be finer to prevent too much soil filtering through into the barrel over time (because there are holes you can drill for drainage). If you prefer a finer mesh it is very easy to use something extra - small part of an old sheet or T-Shirt for example - to line the surface before adding soil.

The Cascata has an integral corrosion proof screen guard to prevent detritus entering the barrel and comes complete with 4 foot garden hose with  shut-off nozzle as well as a brass tap.  The Cascata has a very attractive terracotta finish and comes with the manufacturers 20 year warranty.
