The Rain Tank rainwater harvesting and storage systems are modular in design and can be extended to meet individual requirments. The systems are available in a range of sizes, from 1500L to 3750L and are made up of inter-connected Rain Tank 750L storage units, fed by a high quality rainwater filter/collector and a compact yet powerfull fully automatic pump. A sight gauge is also included so you can see at a glance the water levels within your tanks and you can choose from a Green, Black, Granite or Sandstone finish.

The Filter: The rainwater filter is easily installed on your downpipe having been specifically designed for the UK market to fit downpipes from 65 to 100mm (not just 65mm square and 68mm round). This ensures only clean, debris-free water is diverted into your storage system. When the tanks are full the filter automatically sends excess water down the drain as usual and the unique removeable filter can be taken out, cleaned and replaced within seconds.
The Pump: X-AJE 80 PX Stainless Steel Pump (please see picture in extra images below). The Steelpump X-AJE80P is a very high quality powerful 0.6Kw pump capable of supplying water to a total height of upto 40 metres. This is a self-priming pump, with electronic flow control and can function either submerged or above water. The electronic flow control with run-dry protection responds to the pressure in the outlet pipe. As the user draws water by opening a tap or similar, the pump starts, turn the tap off and the pump cuts out automatically. This pump is designed for pumping clean water only. The professional build quality incorporates high quality steel bearings, double silicon seals and reliable electronics, making it suitable for more demanding applications and high duty cycles such as below ground tanks, commercial or irrigation use
The Pump outlet will allow you to connect 1/2", 3/4" or even 1" hose and a large inlet cartridge filter is supplied as standard to make doubly sure that only cleaned water enters the pump. Our rain tank systems also come complete with a sturdy metal valve and a simple, reliable brass connector allowing you to shut off the rain tank outlet and remove the pump for storage.
