The AHS 48 LI is the smaller of Bosch's two Lithium-Ion powered cordless hedgecutters with a 48cm long cutting blade but shares the AHS 52 Li's robust yet ergonomic design and is backed by Bosch's 2 year comprehensive warranty. More eco-friendly than petrol and more flexible than corded electric hedgetrimmers, Lithium-Ion batteries combine the advantages of lower weight, more power but avoid the disadvantages of other battery technologies as they do not suffer from self-discharge and memory effect. Bosch Lithium-Ion Hedgetrimmers also incorporate the patented Power-Tech system which intelligently conserves battery power enabling the AHS 48 LI to carry on cutting powerfully for up to 50 minutes on a single charge.
