If you want a pleasurable, easy way to be greener in the garden, the Brill RazorCut range is for you. These graceful, very lightweight machines (only 7.3kg) are incredibly easy to push; yet their modern design gives a first-rate cut and a 'show lawn' finish. Brill achieves this by using ultra-modern, contact-free cutting technology to give a cutting mechanism that creates no friction. This makes the mower so easy to push and gives the added benefit that it significantly decreases wear and tear on the blades - meaning they last longer and cost less to maintain.
As the name implies the Brill RazorCut Premium 38 is a 38cm (15 inch) push cylinder mower, which is suitable for lawns up to a maximum 250 sq.m. Please remember no hand mower is appropriate for very bumpy lawns. You can adjust the cutting height between 14 - 45 mm, so if you cut your lawn regularly and do not allow the grass to become too long, then the Brill multiblade technology helps you provide a natural mulch by producing very fine cuttings. A grass collection bag is available separately (see below). There is a 2 year manufacturer's guarantee, and all parts are replaceable giving longer useful life.
The mower comes fully assembled apart from the handle, which takes less than 10 minutes to attach. If you buy a Brill RazorCut mower from us we are confident you will enjoy many years of gentle lawn-mowing; getting traditional results with all the benefits of modern technology. Even better - pollution free!
The Brill Razorcut 38 is just one of a number of lawn mowers we stock, to see the rest including push mowers, petrol mowers and mulching mowers visit the lawn mowers section of the site.

Excellent machine. Easy to use - good finish to lawn. A robust mower. I use mine at home and on allotment paths when grass is quite long - it copes very well - easier than fussing with my petrol strimmer.
Cutting right to the edge? There's a knack!

After looking around for some time at battery mowers (quiet and minimal hassle) I took a punt on a human powered design and am delighted with the result. I tend a college campus with formal layout gardens and a few small patches so it needed to be portable (5 stars) quiet (5 stars) and with no associated trip hazards. What's more, there are no running costs, service costs or potential fire/electrical hazards. To add to this impressive list, the finished cut is fantastic- far superior to a rotary cut and will provide finely cut mulch for the lawn all season long once you get on top of things. Any bark chippings or twigs will stop the blades but this encourages a tidy lawn and is much better for the blades rather than powering through objects and causing damage. You will never mow a lawn with such a smile on your face as with one of these. People stop you and ask what you're doing- you tell them and they don't believe you, then they have a push and want to know where you got it from. I even tried it in the damp just to see if it would clog and fail. No problem. Splendid.
