Family Garden - (Dispatched: April to July).
This instant garden is a firm favourite with the whole family, but is also called the children's garden because it's vibrant range of shapes and colours has proven particularly effective in encouraging children to take an interest in growing their own vegetables at home.
Research has shown that if you get your children involved in growing their own food, not only are they likely to enjoy learning about the growing cycle, but they are far more likely to eat it. Just wait until you see their faces when they pick their first courgettes and taste their first home grown tomato or strawberry! Your Children's garden will be delivered as a box brimming full of baby vegetable and herb plants packed in golden straw. All you have to do is pop your baby plants into their new home to begin growing your own kitchen garden. It's so simple that no gardening experience is required. You'll ideally need around 4 square metres of growing space plus a deeper section of raised bed or a potato planter.
