This is the lowest priced Log Store that we think combines practical use and good looks with great value for money. Even better; it's made in the UK from sustainably sourced certified timbers and is pressure treated allowing a 15 year rot protection guarantee. The traditional rustic design of the log store will grace any garden, and both the slatted sides and raised slatted base ensure adequate air circulation to effectively season your timber whilst simultaneous protecting it from the elements.
When fully loaded, it will hold just under 3/4 of a cubic metre of wood and if you need more capacity, why not have two log stores; one for seasoned timber which is ready to burn now and another for seasoning green timber to be ready for next winter?

Looks like three pallets nailed together, and probally costs less to make. What a load of expensive rubbish. G&E EDITOR COMMENT: Interesting comment from this customer, and we think worth highlighting. Log stores are similar to pallets in construction and if you were to construct a similar design you would probably require 4 pallets(one each for the base and sides plus 1 for the back). Buying a new pallet commercially would cost approx £15.00 each and you would then need feather board for the roof plus screws and fixings all of which is likely to bring your material cost very close to the £76.00. This of course does not include the pressure treatment which is backed by the 15 year no-rot warranty so you would be wise to add some preservative (which you might need to re-apply every year or so). Obviously however if you can scout around for some discarded pallets and are happy to try to match them so you get something that looks reasonably acceptable, then treat them etc., you could construct your own DIY log store for lower cost. On balance we believe the Forest log store represents good value for money compared with all this hassle.

Looks great and perfect size for 1m3 log delivery. Comes flat packed and instructions are a bit on the small size. Recommed pre-drilling holes to screw the sides together.

You really can't go wrong at this price especially with a 15 year anti-rot timber protection guarantee and it's FSC certified timber too. delivery took nearly a couple of weeks, but assembly was easy and am very pleased with the result
