The Handy Pro Petrol version of their 7 ton vertical log splitter, like the electric model, is a great choice if you are regularly splitting quantities of large hardwood and softwood logs and also gives you the additional flexibility of not being dependent on mains supply. The heavy duty vertical design with two handed control levers, adjustable base and twin gripping jaws ensure safe operation holding logs firmly in place during operation.  

A powerful 6.5Hp lowered emission Briggs & Stratton I/C series engine powers a smooth hydraulic ram capable of producing up to 7 tonnes of splitting force so it will split logs up to one metre in length and 50cm thick. The adjustable base plate makes for comfotable and efficient operation and because this substantial petrol log splitter weighs-in at a little over 120Kg the practical design includes integral transport wheels mean it is easy to move between site and storage.
