Liebherr Chest Freezers

The GT6121 is the largest chest freezer in the Liebherr range with huge 572 Litres of  net storage and an A+ energy rating. This update version of the popular GTS6112 has a new ergonomically designed handle and comes complete with new freezer tray ideal for freezing fruit, berries and herbs individually, preventing them from sticking together. When not in use, it can be stored as a space saving partition wall. The GT6121 is particularly suitable for larger families, or allotment owners with their own produce to freeze and store.   Like all Liebherr refrigeration products it uses the very highest quality components and is backed by the manufacturers 2 year parts and labour warranty.  The GT6121  has a one-piece, distorsion-proof lid made from pressed steel supported by sturdy steel hinges and retaining springs which hold the lid conveniently open for loading and unloading.  These sprung hinges also ensure a smooth opening and closing action. 

Despite its size, you will notice that the Liebherr GT6121 is quieter than other chest freezers.  This is because it uses jointless foam insulation with the heat -exchanger condenser (the thing that does the freezing!) embedded in the foam insulation which reduces vibration making it quieter in operation.  This jointless foam insulation also improves energy efficiency and stops condensation forming on the outside walls of the freezer.

The Liebherr GT6121 chest freezer also benefits from 'Stopfrost' technology which dramatically reduces frosting-over of both the freezer and it's contents by up to 70%.  The 'StopFrost' system also reduces the need to defrost whilst simultaneously preventing a vacuum from forming which can make the freezer lid very difficult to open.
