The Witham is the largest of our chicken houses (we offer a chicken shed - the Clyde) with four nesting chambers with capacity for up to 24 bantam chickens or 10-12 larger breed birds.  Like the rest of our chicken house range, it is manufactured in the UK from sustainably sourced  timber treated with eco-friendly (Tanalised E)  preservatives.  The Witham frame is constructed from  50 x 25mm pressure-treated battening, mounted on a base that is elevated 50mm off the ground. The sides, roof and nesting boxes are made with pressure-treated shiplap and exterior grade hardwood designed to last through the most extreme conditions.

All fixtures and fittings are galvanised or coated for durability and are locally sourced.  Recycled packaging is used wherever possible.
